Despite the disappointment of the forced cancellation of the 2022 Sawtell Super Fun Day we were able to put most of it “on ice” for 2023!

Its now “out of the freezer”, “thawed” and ready to go!

​

We are deeply appreciative to our many sponsors who allowed us to hold their donations “in trust” ready for 2023 and appreciative to the others who have renewed their pledge for our next Sawtell Super Fun Day.

​

The 102nd Sawtell Super Fun Day, albeit 12 months late, will be on 1 January 2023 and kicks off with the Annual Fun Run through the streets of Sawtell finishing at the Sawtell Beach Holiday Park for a day’s fun and entertainment for the whole family.

​

Of course no Fun Day is complete without the awarding of Sawtellian and Young Sawtellian of the Year.

​

This year’s winners were Ton Huybregts and Joe Clarke.

​

Young Sawtellian of the Year was introduced in 2021 for our younger achievers up to the age of 18 as at 31 December 2022 who have made a significant contribution to the Sawtell community.

​

But before this can happen we need to nominate those who have made a substantial contribution to the community of Sawtell for 2022.

​

Nominations are now open and any person, club, school or organisation can nominate up to two persons they consider are worthy of recognition. Nominations can be one for each category or two for any one category but the nominee’s contribution must relate to the community of Sawtell.
